Please change your password immediately

Dear Gamers,
Since hack cases happened in September 2009, we have put up notices in the game and in the forums to let users know the importance of changing passwords and keeping the password secret. Currently, we are still receiving reports of hack cases, and these accounts have not changed their password despite our earlier warnings and notifications. We hope that with the cooperation of all the active gamers of GE, we will reduce hackers’ interruptions to your gaming pleasure, as well as the time and money wasted on account recovery.
Please note that in order to reduce and prevent further hack cases from happening, all players have to ensure that their account is secure. A secure account must observe the following factors:
  1. Passport ID and Password can only be known to one person; the rightful owner
  2. Password should be changed regularly (once a month at least)
  3. Old passwords should never be reused.
  4. Should you access your account in a LAN shop, change your password once you have reached home, using a safe and ‘clean’ computer
  5. All online forums used should have a different ID and Password from your Passport account
  6. Never share passwords with anyone. If you do that, you will not know who leaked out your password if your account is compromised.
  7. A strong password should consist of upper and lower case characters, numbers and symbols.
  8. Your passport account’s Identity number should be your genuine IC number instead of gibberish numbers and text. This is for ownership verification purposes.
If you suspect your account is compromised, send in a ticket here to report ASAP. The faster investigation starts, the earlier we can nail the perpetrators when the trail is fresh.

Help us help you. Change your password here.
