Recent Events!

There are a couple of casual events flowing around the forums recently, like the latest contest: Design a Loading Screen. It's a tad different this time round!

Speaking of which, a V5.0 logo was used in the provided template this time round (if you haven't realized) - Yes! V5.0, here we come! We have also taken all the feedback from the previous contest into consideration, so yup, more rules to follow. The contest period has also been shorten from a month to as short as just a week!

Just drop by this article to read more about this contest and drop your entry here!

There is another cool event going on recently - the Community Crew event - Voice-over Mix n' Match they call it. This bunch of dudes have never failed to surprise me with their awesome ideas, thanks peeps! :D

Anyway, it's an event whereby you can make use of the voice-over of one character, mix and match with another character to produce a funny sentence, or anything up to your creativity!

If you do have awesome and doable event ideas, don't be shy! Just drop me an email! :)

As most of you guys have already knew, there was an event going on right now till 16 August.

All you will have to do is to follow my blog and when it exceeds 500 followers, which is another 100 peeps more, you guys will get a 50% server-wide EXP boost for a week! 1,000 gives you 100% EXP Boost, simple isn't it? :P (Dates for EXP Boost still tentative.)

So yeah, get all your friends here and click follow!

Lorsie is gonna take a break for 2 weeks, forumites should know about this already ya? So be good boys and girls, don't be naughty and don't bully Xanxus. Oh well, no, I think I'm wrong. Don't let Xanxus bully you guys I mean.

The team is currently really busy with some stuff here and there, and that includes the unlocking of Catherine Torsche recruitment quests, and the 4 expert stances - I'm so looking forward to those expert stances!

Have you guys train your Catherine to Master yet? I think you should, if you have not! The quest was really hard for an average user, like me. I can hardly survived the Reckless Emilia Quest, and now, the Catherine's quest was even harder. Gawd. :(

So, start mastering your Catherine nao!

Reviews: MSi GE600 and AOC 2436Vmh

A few days ago, TeamGE received another 2 items to review. We are pretty amazed that these IT systems kept rolling into our games just for our gamers. But we are also not in position to determine which country these products are targeting their exposure too. TeamGE is still looking for opportunities to reach out to gamers with these sponsorships in the region. Perhaps if you have the opportunity, you can help. Just drop me an email!

Anyways, lets start with GE600, the model name itself gives a ring… like you know.. play GE on GE600? “So coincidental right?”

So when talking about gaming systems, gamers would normally look for Desktops to have the best performance. However, MSi came up with the latest GE600 series of gaming notebooks, featuring ATI Radeon HD5730 with 1GB DDR3 graphics card and a 16” LED Screen, means gaming on the go, with performance, and longer battery life. What surprised me is I tried running Granado Espada and Dragonica at the same time… and it worked. It is simply smooth, like how Guinness promotes its stout. Smoootthhh!

Some of the exciting features:
Intel i5 Core Processor
4GB Ram, Upgradable to 8gb
ATI Radeon HD5730 with 1GB DDR3 VRAM – Ensures you that you can run most games on the highest graphic quality with maximum smoothness.
Theatre Class Speakers with a subwoofer – Brings gaming from a notebook up another level, with crystal clear quality sound.
Switchable graphics – Switchable graphics between High-performance GPU and Power-Saving mode allowing users
Numeric Keyboard – Having a number pad on the keyboard area makes it easier for gamers to do certain hot key-ing easier than most notebook numpads which most of the time are combined with the keyboard.

Online games aside, I dropped in the latest Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty Closed beta, and geez… its SMMOOOTTHHH and it remained cool even though running graphics/processing intensive games, so burnt on fingers and palms are not possible. Safe for kids and parents need not to worry. Seriously, sometimes I wonder why Alienware is so ex…

For more information about MSi GE600, please log on to MSi website to find out what they can offer!

Well, apparently AOC is very BIG in United States of America, and I wonder if Obama is using one of these… or perhaps his security team that has eagle eye on everything with this monitors. This AOC 2436Vmh monitor which has a 24 inch screen size (23.6" in actual) and its actual display area is measuring at 521.28mm x 293.22mm. It's huge, if you ask me. (And I'm only using a 17 inch monitor for my daily work!)

It is labeled as the green monitor because it has 50% power saving function, that's saving up to 104,000 Watts compared to a CRT monitor! A greener Earth and cooler days ahead! I wanted to bring an air conditioning system where ever I go!

Basically, you can find whatever key features you need from a LCD monitor in this AOC precious. Full HD, 20000:1 high contrast ratio with 5ms high response time and HDCP ready function to watch movies! It's HDMI input can connect to wide range of multimedia players such as DVD and PS3.

The buttons on the monitor are touch-sensitive and with the USB connector on the other side, it provides an additional slot for your USB device!

Playing GE on this monitor is simply heavenly, it's so huge! What's more? It's not expensive at all, it will cost you approximately less than $300! Come on, it’s cheap and why not consider your part in saving Earth?

If you are interested, do find these monitors at your local dealers, otherwise log on to AOC Website to find out more.

Are you gonna get one of these? :)
